Were people in olden days America less hygienic then today?

this whole statement is false.. Also in the 1940's, 1950's and 1960's items such as soap, deodorant, shampoo, disposable razors, shaving cream, shave brushes, back scrubbers, nail scrubbers, nail clippers, combs, hair brushes, clothes brushes, shoe polish, irons and hair dryers were very expensive and only the rich owned them... also this statement.... Showers were very rare in homes until the late 1990's we have had shower in every home i ever lived in i was born 1951 so you need to study history my young friend , yes there were small areas with out indoor plumbing but the vast majority even had electricity and a talking machine
