He's probably spamming you. I mean who comes to strangers with problems. I say, block him and stop all contact just to be sure. Just my opinion though. Even though he seem's like a nice guy and all, he's most likely fishing to see what kind of strings he can pull to get to the country and god forbid, rob you. Hope I helped. Good Luck.
